a couple of weeks ago i coloured an odd comic i made a while back
The Comic book festival was great! Thanks to all of you who came to the festival! I had a lovely time meeting all of you! Especially big thanks to the cutie who spontaneously went all the way from Gothenburg to Stockholm just to buy the stuff Elis and I were selling. ♥
I’m actually quite surprised that all the copies I had of Åror, Egen, PK-maffian and Hålla hand were sold! However…
Elis and I have 16 copies of Trans:it left, which we will sell on the internet! Trans:it is an autobiographical, full-colour comicbook about a transvestite’s life and trans* journey, coming out and accepting their own queer identity. The book features both Elis’ and my artwork, among with 25 other comic artists’. It’s in Swedish!

This is one of my 7 pages!

And this is one of Elis’ panels.
We sell it for 120 SEK + shipping!
(120 SEK is a little more than 18 USD)
Write to either e.minborg@hotmail.com or eliasericson@live.se if you’re interested! (And tell us if you want it signed <3)
So! Stockholms internationella seriefestival, Stockholm’s international comic book festival, is coming up this weekend! I will be in Stockholm at Kulturhuset among with lots of talented artists and sell stuff. Don’t be as shy as I tend to be - say hi! :D
Stockholm, T-centralen, Kulturhuset, 3rd floor. Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM to 6 PM.
The books (all of them are in Swedish) I have prepared for the festival are:

”ÅROR”: 84 A4 pages, black/white, 260 KR
The name of the comic, “Åror”, means “oars” in Swedish and refers to part of the story’s essence. “Åror” is about a meeting between two teens of different personalities, looks and social situations - but with one important thing in common, which pulls them together much tighter than they first expected. Their relationship that started out as shallow as most simple acquaintanceships do swiftly escalates into something darker, rawer, and incredibly important.
Åror is the project I worked with for about a year. I brought the drawing pad that I kept the comic in with me at all times. Scrutinising myself and people around me along with the comic’s development made it an interesting journey creating the story.

”EGEN”: 60 A5 pages, full colour, 160 KR
Egen is a book which collects my one shot-comics as well as my short ones. Some are humorous, some are serious - most of them are a little bit of both. You will recognize many of them from this blog, but there are plenty which I have never published neither here nor any other place on the internet, including a very personal one.
I also made some small zines:

”HÅLLA HAND”: 8 A5 pages, black/white, 30 KR
A short story which deals with the fear of being out as queer which is (sadly enough) based on a true story.

”PK-MAFFIAN”: 8 A6 pages, full colour, 30 KR
A short comic about casual oppression in Sweden, made into a neat little mini-zine!
Soooo… hurry up and get your grabby hands on my stuff if you want it, especially my books, since there’s not an infinite amount of copies available! If I get any left I will sell them to whoever’s interested.
And oh, here’s the map! You will find me, Elis and Mirre here. :]

And oh, I might do some more small last-minute zines and prints, because I finally got my printer working! Might do some live sketch commissions as well! See ya! UvU~
Commission for this person! :3
(…I can’t get over how much this looks like it’s a cover for a book called ”I’m so queer for you” by an author named Gay Penguins.)
